This Privacy Policy explains how [Company legal name] ("ForLater," "we," "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the ForLater mobile application and related services (the "Service"). ForLater lets you record video messages and keep them private until they are delivered — on a future date you choose, or held quietly, just in case.
We've tried to write this in plain language. Where a term has a specific legal meaning, that meaning controls. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Three promises sit underneath everything we do. Nothing is ever sent until a real person says yes. Your videos are seen only by the people you choose — no one at ForLater can watch them. Your videos are never used to train AI.

03 How we use your information

We never use your videos to train AI — ours or anyone else's. We do not sell your personal information.
04 Your video messages
Your recordings are the most sensitive thing we hold, and we treat them that way. Video messages are encrypted in transit and at rest from the moment you save them. No one at ForLater can watch your videos. They are accessible only to you and, at the moment of delivery, to the recipient you chose.
You can re-record, reschedule, or delete a message at any point before it is sent. Once a message has been delivered, the recipient's access is governed by the link you shared (see How messages are delivered).
05 How messages are delivered
When a message is due, it is delivered as a private link the recipient can open on any phone, tablet, or computer — no app or account required of them. Nothing is ever sent automatically; a real person approves every delivery.
- For Future Moments, you set the date, and you confirm the send.
- For Just-in-Case messages, a trusted contact you named must give their approval before anything is delivered.
- You can switch off a delivery link before it has been opened.
06 Data storage & security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular review of our systems. An optional Face ID lock can be enabled for your Just-in-Case messages. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and to limit who can access it to the smallest number of people necessary to run the Service.
08 Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most of this directly in the app, or contact us to make a request. To delete your data, see our Data Deletion page.
09 Data retention
We keep your messages and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete a message or your account, we remove the associated content from our active systems and from backups within a commercially reasonable period, except where we are required to retain limited records by law.
10 Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under [13/16, per jurisdiction], and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
11 International transfers
